As a therapist and parent working with Asperger adults, this article concerns me.
Adults with Asperger syndrome struggle with stress, due to their neurodiverse wiring. Society has not yet appreciated their neurological differences, and the differences make for social misunderstandings, underemployment, and social isolation.
If you’re struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts, please reach out to others for help.
Reader, what are some of your thoughts on this topic?
What can I do on this blog to help reduce loneliness and isolation for Asperger adults struggling with depression, stress, and suicidal thoughts?
I look forward to hearing from you. Please comment below.
