  • Mad Hatter

I am 47 yrs old and just been told I have autism for first time. For 30 years I have been receiving wrong treatment and advice. Devastation is the word for what I feel. Grief, outrage. Apparently I am too empathic. I am a sitting duck for bullies. And have dyscalculus and ready beat the next person who tells me they think I am mentally ill with a large stick.I was diagnosed with infantile rheumatoid arthritis at 3 months old. And I also have severe allergies and PTSD. Not so much feeling sorry for myself, more like heartbroken.

  • I’m so sorry to hear about the depth of what you’re feeling. I hope that you can find support by reading this blog. And we’d love to have you join us at the Thrive with Aspergers/Autism community, where we all support each other.
